Mission Statement

At D4G Destined 4 Greatness Inc , we are dedicated to recognizing and nurturing the unique talents of school-age students and adult learners. Guided by our core pillars—Arts, Education, Vocation, Athletics, Entrepreneurship, and Mentoring—we take a holistic approach to fostering psycho-social development while supporting the well-being of the mind, body, and spirit. Through advocacy, resources, and mentorship, we promote mental wellness and raise awareness of the warning signs of violence, self-harm, and emotional distress among youth and young adults. By identifying individual strengths, we empower them with the tools to grow, thrive, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Our vision is rooted in a holistic approach that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit, guided by Christ-centered values to enrich the lives of youth, families, and communities. We embrace diversity and respect individuals of all belief systems, fostering an environment of inclusivity and understanding. Through modeling and teaching the fruits of life—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—we aim to restore and strengthen healthy relationships among youth, young adults, and parents. Through innovative programs and mentorship, we strive to unlock potential, foster resilience, and create pathways to greatness.

Our Impact

Our organization and partners have impacted children by utilizing Education, Arts, Athletics Entrepreneurship, and Vocation. Developing children ages 3-12 teaching fine and gross motor skill development, phonemic awareness, phonological development, socialization, bullying awareness, critical thinking, arithmetic, and Black History. We have developed athletes in the area of Football, Basketball (Girls & Boys) from Biddy Basketball, high school, college, and Professional Athletes, who continue to coach, mentor, and guide families through the process.

Through music, we have served hundreds of students in Rochester and the NYC Area through after-school programs providing instruction on the History of Dee Jays and MC’s (Master of Ceremonies) music theory, music production focusing on math, along with reading and writing skills.

Our partnership with Rising Stars Leadership Development In. in Brevard County Florida focuses on Science Technology Engineering Arts Math (STEAM). Our partners have developed the Sea Perch Program- a National U.S. Navy Program originally meant to help students design submarines. They learned to build underwater robots with the purpose to develop skills in research and addressing environmental hazards in the Indian Lagoon River. Their goal is to expand in Florida and in NY. The goal is to get the program into schools in and around the Finger Lakes and Genesee River Area in Upstate NY.

BEX Robotics program is teaching students mechanical engineering and Robotics one of the major sponsors is Guide Star Engineering and hydrophones for hearing underwater Go Pro and currently Brevard County Schools(41)

Our Programs

Our current summer program “Hip Hop & Mental Health,” is based in Rochester, NY. This program will serve 20 youth incorporating the fundamentals of music, musical values with mental health issues/ struggles, and a positive outlet for expression. We will be introducing different musical artists with a variety of instrumental strengths to expand the experience for the involved individuals, and hope to result in a full album.

 

Arts

With our focus on the Arts, we expand the creativity of children and their individual talents. We provide a positive outlet through different forms of music or artistic interests, allowing the individual to naturally flow with the process and express themselves, heal through past traumas, or provide their perspective to others in a different form of communication. 

Athletics

Athletics are a stellar outlet for youth and young adults to find passion, understand “TEAM” concepts, and provide a fine example for working hard to achieve greatness. Programs included through partnerships with, “Hoop ‘N Holla", Franchise Basketball , WOC football training programs, and other basketball tournaments and programs.

Education

Promoting education and the importance of effort within our educational systems, we expect to improve youth test scores through the methods suggested. Catering to each individual’s needs and values, we can implement new strategies to promote focus and test-taking skills that will automatically reflect within their school. We offer tutoring services, study strategies, and hope for our youth to refrain from violence and towards education. 

Business/ Entrepeunarship

Lastly, we assist young entrepreneurs partenring with Alternative Education Allen Perry and Damon Garfield Sr. to achieve their dreams through understanding methods of business, information on proper licensing, and correct resources to grow their vision. For youth looking towards furthering their education, we help with preparing for college, SAT tests, and guiding them along their journey.

We hope to spread awareness of the warning signs of violence and/or unhealthy mental states of youth or adolescents, to provide them with the help, advocacy, or resources they need to become mentally healthy, which overall, will reflect within school systems and through the decrease in criminal or violent behavior. Last and surely not least, encouraging individuals to understand their purpose on this Earth and create their own relationship with Christ.
